Te Reo Verbs

I have been learning to write simple sentences in te reo. It was a little bit challenging but I still did it. I am proud of what I have made.

As part of our reading this term, we have been researching facts about our sun and planets in our solar system.

We created this slide show together as a class.

Maths

We have been learning to draw 3D shapes from different points of view. I enjoyed working with Elliot to do this task.

Chapter Chat

Chapter Chat is when you tweet on Twitter about a book. We get to do fun tasks like making a dog kennel. It is cool because we get to share our work with schools from all over NZ.

cross country

cross country

At the cross country my heart was beat just watching everybody else. Then I heard "year 4s come to the starting line". Then "on your mark, get set, honk". The hooter went. Everyone was off like a herd of stomping elephants running from their predators. The challenging bits were the mud and stairs but the good bits were the down hill and the big big field. At the end it was sad because I came last but at least I tried and I will keep practising until my breath is out.

on the 17th of june room 6 went to the hall to do world of maths we went with flourish and poutukumamua and watch the video to find out more.

Dance.nz.made

We did learnt a dance for Dance NZ Made. It was fun but I decided not to enter the competition because I don't like dancing.

This term our class has been using Sports Start. We are getting better at these skills:

Our class has been playing Diamond Ball which is like Baseball/Softball.

I have improved with passing.

I really enjoyed playing Force Back.

I need to keep working on hitting the ball with a bat.
